OBJECTIVE
Develop a set of 3 posters to promoted an exhibit showcasing music icons across 50 years. Posters should be cohesive, but different, and reference the subject matter.
SCOPE
7-week project, posters must not use imagery and only reference figures symbolically or through illustration
IMPACT
This poster series was created to promote Music Icons: 50 Years, an exhibit, with high impact visuals that would stop someone walking by. Posters were conceptualized around the grooves in vinyls and the environments and movement of these artists' shows. The showcasing of recognizable names is aimed to draw in interest, allowing to viewer to reveal more detail as they approach the posters. Through this poster design, I gained practice in applying concepts to design and working around constraints.
