OBJECTIVE
Research an develop a logo and wordmark for the Columbia Center Event Venue in Cincinnati, Ohio. Then, develop a brand guidelines book and touchpoints to present to the client. Columbia Center is parented by the Junior League of Cincinnati, a charity organization. Columbia Center had no branding prior but strived to reference their buildings history and their key role in Cincinnati's charity community.
SCOPE
16-week project from initial client interview to final guidelines. Team-based project of 3 members, I was the lead in pattern, photography, and brand application. 60+ hand-drawn logo iterations were needed weekly for the first 4 weeks of this project.
IMPACT
Our team's rebrand aimed to improve the venue's visibility and modernize the venue, while maintaining their values in community and their history. While the rebrand was not chosen, it was a top contender for the venue's final selection. Through this project, I gained knowledge in the process behind branding, client interviews and research, and high leveled of iteration to develop a concept.
